It is always suggested to backup BIReport before every installation.
to do so you have to backup the SQL Database and the ReportLayouts folder in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\BiReportManagementConsole
Actually, to save also the configuration, it is better to backup the two folders
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\BiReportManagementConsole
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\BiReportWorker
To backup the DB follow these steps, with SQL server management studio:
- connect to the SQL server
- right clik on bireport
- Task
- Backup to disk
- Add
- File name
- choose a folder and a name for the file (ex bakupbireport7715.bak (do not forget the file extension)
